The people behind the centre
We are a small team of ECE certified educators building a brand new childcare centre in Fleetwood, and we would love for your family to be part of its very first chapter.
our story
Why we opened in Fleetwood
Fleetwood is full of young families and short on childcare. We kept meeting parents juggling long waitlists and long drives across Surrey, and we knew this neighbourhood deserved a centre of its own.
September 1, 2026 is the day we open our doors, and we are counting down to it. Every week between now and then goes into getting the details right, from the reading corner to the fence around the outdoor play space.
We are building the kind of place we would want for our own children. Educators who know every child by name, small moments handled with care, and days that feel like home, with more finger paint.

Four values you will feel in the room
Warmth
Every child is greeted by name at the door, every single morning. When a drop off is hard, we hold your little one until they are ready to play.
Safety
Secure doors, stocked first aid kits and rooms we check before children arrive each day. You should never have to wonder whether your child is safe with us.
Honesty
If your child had a tough day, you will hear about it from us at pick up, kindly and directly. We would rather have a real conversation than a polished one.
Play
Blocks, paint, puddles and pretend kitchens are where the real learning happens. We protect long stretches of play instead of rushing children to the next thing.

Meet our educators
We are hiring our founding team now, and every person who joins it meets the same high bar. Come for a tour and we will happily talk about who will be in each room.
ECE certified
Every educator we hire holds Early Childhood Educator certification with the BC ECE Registry. It is our baseline, not a bonus.
Infant Toddler trained
Educators in our infant and toddler room carry Infant Toddler Educator training on top of their ECE certification, so our youngest children are in specialist hands.
First aid and clear checks
Everyone on our team holds current first aid training and a clear criminal record check before they ever spend a day with children.
We will introduce our educators here as the founding team comes together before opening day. Until then, ask us anything about hiring on your tour.
licensed and inspected
Licensing and safety
We are opening as a licensed centre under Fraser Health Community Care Facilities Licensing. Community care licensing is the provincial system that sets and inspects the standards every licensed childcare centre in BC must meet, and it covers the things parents care about most:
- who can work with children, including qualifications and staffing
- how much safe, suitable space children need, indoors and out
- health, safety and emergency practices
- the daily program children actually experience
- regular inspections to keep it all honest
our neighbourhood
Rooted in Fleetwood
Our centre sits at 16011 83 Avenue, close to Fleetwood Park and the local schools many of our children will one day walk to. We want to be part of the everyday life of this neighbourhood, not just a building in it.
