money talk, made simple

Fees and funding, explained clearly

Childcare fees in Surrey are a big line in any family budget, so we are open about ours. Two provincial programs can lower what you pay every month, and we help with the paperwork for both.

no surprises

How our fees work

Everything below comes straight from our parent handbook, so what you read here is what you sign.

Registration fee

A one-time, non-refundable registration fee of $150 secures your child's spot.

Deposit

A 50% non-refundable deposit holds your child's spot and is applied to your first month's fees.

When fees are due

Full fees are due on the 1st of each month.

Giving notice

Withdrawing requires 30 days' written notice from the 1st of the month, or one month's fees in lieu of notice.

Monthly rates

We share current monthly rates on your tour, in writing, with nothing hidden.

already built in

Your fees already include the CCFRI reduction

The Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative is a provincial program that pays licensed centres to lower what families are charged. We are an opted-in provider, so the savings are taken off your bill before you ever see it.

under 36 months

up to $900

off each month for full-time care in our Infant and Toddler Program.

3 years to kindergarten

up to $545

off each month for full-time care in our 3 to 5 Years Program.

There is nothing to apply for and no forms to fill in. Part-time care receives a prorated reduction. These maximums come from the 2026 to 2027 CCFRI funding guidelines and are set by the Province.

for eligible families

The Affordable Child Care Benefit

The ACCB is a monthly benefit from the Province that is paid directly to us and lowers what you pay. It is based on your family's income and size, and it stacks on top of the CCFRI reduction.

Who qualifies

  • Families earning up to $111,000 a year may qualify for some benefit.
  • The maximum benefit for licensed care goes to families with an adjusted income up to $45,000. Above that, the benefit reduces gradually.
  • Your income is adjusted down by $2,000 for each family member after the first two, and by $3,000 for each child with support needs, so larger families qualify more easily.
  • You need a reason for care the Province recognizes, such as work, school, looking for work or a medical condition, and you must be a BC resident.

How much it can be worth

Maximum monthly benefit for licensed group care, per child:

  • Under 19 monthsup to $1,250
  • 19 months to under 37 monthsup to $1,060
  • 37 months to kindergartenup to $550

Figures from the Province of BC rates page, updated March 2026. Your actual amount depends on your family's income and size.

How to apply

  1. 1Try the Province’s estimator first to see roughly what you could receive.
  2. 2Apply online through My Family Services, ideally before the end of the month your child starts, so the benefit covers that month.
  3. 3Renew every year. We will remind you when your expiry date is coming up.

What we need from you

Once you are approved, give the Director your ACCB authorization number so we can claim the benefit each month. Until the approval arrives, full fees apply, and any difference is settled once the Province confirms your amount. Please renew before your expiry date so there is no gap.

Questions about the forms? Bring them to your tour or call 604-503-0149. We are happy to walk you through every step.

putting it together

How the two programs stack

One is automatic, one takes an application, and they work together.

1

Our monthly fee

The full rate for your child's program, shared with you in writing on your tour.

2

Minus the CCFRI reduction

Applied automatically because we are an opted-in provider. Up to $900 a month for children under 36 months and up to $545 for ages 3 to kindergarten.

3

Minus your ACCB, if eligible

Paid to us directly by the Province once you are approved. That is what you pay each month.

Provincial amounts on this page are set by the Province of BC and can change. We check them regularly, and gov.bc.ca always has the current figures.
