Fleetwood Children's Centre on 83 Avenue
If you searched for a childcare centre on 83 Avenue in Fleetwood, this post is here to make things simple. Here is exactly who we are, where we are and how to reach us.
Yes, this is the centre at 16011 83 Avenue
Fleetwood Children's Centre is a licensed childcare centre at 16011 83 Avenue, Surrey, BC V4N 0N2, in the Fleetwood neighbourhood of Surrey. We are licensed under Fraser Health Community Care Facilities Licensing, and our educators are ECE certified.
We are open now and enrolling, and the best first step is a tour.
How to find us
We sit in the heart of Fleetwood, close to 160 Street and Fraser Highway, so getting here rarely means going out of your way. Fleetwood Park, the Surrey Sport and Leisure Complex area and several elementary schools are all close by.
When you arrive, look for our sign by the hedge, with the covered entrance just behind it. Families come and go through a secure front entry.
We welcome families from across Surrey, including Guildford, Green Timbers, Clayton and Cloverdale. Fleetwood sits at a friendly crossroads, so drop off can fit into the drive you are already making. You can read more on our Childcare in Fleetwood page.
Our hours
Both of our programs keep the same hours:
- Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Saturday and Sunday: Closed
Because the hours match, siblings can arrive and go home together.
Two programs under one roof
We run two programs in the same building, with the same warm educators and the same unhurried pace.
Infant and Toddler Program, 0 to 36 months
Our Infant and Toddler Program welcomes children from birth to 36 months. Days move at your child's pace, with feeding, naps and floor play that follow their own rhythm. Educators in this room carry Infant Toddler Educator training on top of their ECE certification.
3 to 5 Years Program
Our 3 to 5 Years Program helps children learn through play. Every day mixes art, blocks, books, dramatic play and outdoor time, with educators guiding kindergarten readiness along the way. Group sizes follow BC licensing requirements for group child care ages 30 months to school age, and we are happy to walk you through how that works on a tour.
You can compare both programs side by side on our programs page.
Want to see inside?
Some parents search for photos before they visit, and that makes sense. Our Our Space page gives a first look at the infant room, the toddler room, the 3 to 5 program space and our fenced outdoor play spaces.
Still, a photo only shows so much. On a tour you see every room, not just the front door, and you can ask anything you like.
Questions about cost
Monthly rates are shared on a tour. We are an opted-in Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative provider, so the CCFRI reduction is built into every family's monthly fee, and we accept the Affordable Child Care Benefit for eligible families. Our Fees and Funding page explains CCFRI and ACCB in plain language.
How to reach us
The easiest way to get started is our Book a Tour page. Tell us a little about your family and we will suggest a time. A tour takes about 30 to 40 minutes, commits you to nothing, and your child is always welcome to come along.
Prefer to talk? Call us at 604-503-0149 during our hours.
After your tour, you can join the enrolment list for the program that fits your child's age. We offer spaces in the order families joined the list, and we keep you updated along the way.
We would love to meet you.
